Therapy is an investment in yourself, and transparency is part of how we try to honor that.

LiveWell accepts the following insurances:

United Behavioral Health
ND & MN Medicaid (some plans)
If you are unsure if sessions are covered, please contact your insurance provider directly. LiveWell will verify insurance benefits once you complete intake documents and are ready to be scheduled.
Payments can be made via most major credit and debit card holders, or cash. You may also use your HSA/FSA dollars if applicable. Payment method needs to be established prior to the session being held. There is a late cancel (within 24 hours of appointment) and no-show fee of $100.
LiveWell does accept private pay and provides a reasonable rate, please send us a message to inquire about this.

Morgan is licensed in both mental health and substance use counseling in Minnesota. These two are often deeply intertwined. Usually from an insurance and billing point of view, the mental health diagnosis will be the forefront and the substance use will be addressed within sessions to ensure well-rounded care.

Not everyone who wishes to access counseling services will have a diagnosable condition. When a client uses their health insurance, a diagnosis is required in order for the insurance company to cover services. This can lead to over-diagnosing to ensure payment for services. Read more about that here and here. Additionally, your private health information must be shared with your insurance in order to establish and maintain a need for continued services.

Every plan and policy is different. We highly encourage you to contact your insurance carrier to check what co-pays, coinsurance, or deductible plans you have. We will check this once a new client is onboarded and scheduled, but unfortunately are unable to check for just inquiry or curiosity.

You have the option to pay out of pocket, and we can issue a Superbill. A Superbill is like an itemized receipt for medical services, in this case for counseling. If you have a diagnosis and active health insurance (MA excluded), you may be reimbursed for services. LiveWell would provide you with this receipt and you would submit to your insurance on your own.
